Updating your profile
Welcome to Vanguard Digital Advisor®! We’re glad you’re here. To get the most out of Digital Advisor and unlock all that it has to offer, you’ll need to update your profile. Here’s why: We’re now managing your investments using profile settings your employer chose for you. But those settings might not be right for you. And you deserve financial advice that’s tailored to fit your needs.
How can you get personalized advice? By completing two steps that will take you about 5 minutes. Start by logging in to your Digital Advisor profile. Make sure your planned retirement age, time in retirement, and tax filing status are up to date. These details help us figure out the right amount of risk we think you can afford to take and still reach your goals. Then take our risk survey. We’ll show you 3 scenarios, 1 long term and 2 short term. Each scenario shows pairs of best and worst outcomes for your money. You’ll pick the outcomes you’re most comfortable with. Your answers help us pinpoint your comfort with financial risk. After you finish both steps, Digital Advisor will use your info to build your personalized investment mix. And we’ll check that mix every business day to make sure it’s still working for you.
Plus, our tools can take your financial planning to the next level. You can set custom goals, like buying a car or a new home. Get help knocking out debt with our debt payoff calculator. And make sure you’re covered for a financial emergency with our rainy-day tool. You can also continue adding details to your profile to fine-tune your retirement outlook.
Power up your retirement planning. Update your Digital Advisor profile today!
